กองทัพบกได้รับรายงานจากกองทัพภาคที่ 2 ว่า เมื่อเวลา 07.15 น. วันนี้ ทหารกัมพูชาได้ระดมยิงจรวด BM-21 เข้ามายังพื้นที่อำเภอพนมดงรัก จังหวัดสุรินทร์ ส่งผลกระทบต่อพื้นที่พลเรือนในวงกว้าง ครอบคลุม ตำบลตาเมียง ตำบลบักได และตำบลจีกแดก รวมกว่า 50 นัด โดยตรวจพบว่ามีกระสุนตกบริเวณโดยรอบโรงพยาบาลพนมดงรัก จำนวน 5 ลูก
ภายหลังเกิดเหตุ หน่วยทหารและหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องได้เร่งอพยพผู้ป่วย เจ้าหน้าที่ทางการแพทย์ และประชาชนพลเรือนทั้งหมดเข้าสู่พื้นที่กำบังเรียบร้อยแล้ว เพื่อความปลอดภัยสูงสุด ทั้งนี้ กองทัพบกยังคงติดตามสถานการณ์อย่างใกล้ชิด พร้อมทั้งเพิ่มมาตรการป้องกันผลกระทบและดูแลประชาชนในพื้นที่อย่างต่อเนื่อง

กองทัพบกขอประณามการใช้อาวุธโจมตีพื้นที่พลเรือนของกัมพูชา ซึ่งเป็นการกระทำที่ละเมิดอธิปไตยของไทย และขัดต่อหลักมนุษยธรรมอย่างร้ายแรง การยิงจรวดหลายลำกล้องเข้าสู่เขตชุมชนและบริเวณสถานพยาบาล ถือเป็นพฤติกรรมที่ไม่อาจยอมรับได้ และเป็นภัยอย่างยิ่งต่อความปลอดภัยของประชาชนผู้บริสุทธิ์ กองทัพบกยืนยันว่าจะดำเนินมาตรการป้องกันและตอบสนองต่อภัยคุกคามทุกรูปแบบอย่างเหมาะสม ภายใต้กฎการใช้กำลังตามหลักสากล เพื่อคุ้มครองชีวิตและทรัพย์สินของประชาชนไทยเป็นสำคัญ

Cambodia Fires BM‑21 Rockets Into Civilian Area; Shells Land Near Phanom Dong Rak Hospital; Army Evacuates Residents, Condemns Humanitarian Violation

Royal Thai Army received a report from the 2nd Army Area that at 07:15 a.m. today, Cambodian soldiers launched a BM-21 rocket barrage into the area of Phanom Dong Rak District, Surin Province. This wide-ranging attack significantly impacted civilian areas, covering Tambon Ta Miang, Tambon Bak Dai, and Tambon Chik Daek, totaling over 50 rounds. Importantly, five rounds were detected landing in the vicinity of Phanom Dong Rak Hospital.
Following the incident, military units and relevant agencies immediately expedited the evacuation of all patients, medical personnel, and civilian residents to safe shelters to ensure maximum safety. The Royal Thai Army continues to monitor the situation closely while consistently increasing protective measures and care for the population in the area.

The Royal Thai Army condemns Cambodia’s use of weapons to attack civilian areas, which constitutes a violation of Thai sovereignty and a grave breach of humanitarian principles. The firing of multiple rocket launchers into community zones and near medical facilities is considered unacceptable behavior and poses an extreme threat to the safety of innocent people.
The Royal ThaiArmy reaffirms that it will implement appropriate protective measures and respond to all forms of threats strictly under international rules of engagement to safeguard the lives and property of Thai citizens as a priority.
