เมื่อเวลาประมาณ 07.00 น. ได้เกิดเหตุถนนทรุดตัวบริเวณหน้าโรงพยาบาลวชิรพยาบาล ถนนสามเสน เขตดุสิต กรุงเทพมหานคร เป็นหลุมขนาดใหญ่ กว้างประมาณ 30 x 30 เมตร ลึกประมาณ 50 เมตร และยังมีแนวโน้มที่จะทรุดตัวเพิ่มขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง

ต่อมา เสาไฟฟ้าล้มลงไปในหลุมจำนวน 2 ต้น และมีรถยนต์ของสถานีตำรวจนครบาลสามเสนตกลงไปด้วย การทรุดตัวยังคงขยายวงกว้าง ส่งผลกระทบโดยตรงต่อความปลอดภัยของประชาชน และทำให้การจราจรบริเวณดังกล่าว รวมถึงพื้นที่โดยรอบติดขัดอย่างหนัก

กองทัพภาคที่ 1 โดย ศูนย์บรรเทาสาธารณภัยกองทัพภาคที่ 1, ศูนย์บรรเทาสาธารณภัยกองพลที่ 1 รักษาพระองค์, และ ศูนย์บรรเทาสาธารณภัยมณฑลทหารบกที่ 11 ได้จัดกำลังพลจิตอาสาพระราชทาน และเจ้าหน้าที่ทหาร ลงพื้นที่ร่วมสนับสนุนการปฏิบัติของกองบัญชาการตำรวจนครบาล หน่วยงานกู้ภัย และหน่วยบรรเทาสาธารณภัยในพื้นที่ โดยได้ร่วมกันประเมินสถานการณ์ ควบคู่ไปกับการอำนวยความสะดวกด้านการจราจรและดูแลความปลอดภัยของประชาชน

กองทัพขอส่งความห่วงใยถึงพี่น้องประชาชนทุกท่าน ขอให้ทุกคนปลอดภัย และใช้ความระมัดระวังในการสัญจรในบริเวณดังกล่าว

Major Road Collapse in Front of Vajira Hospital

At approximately 07:00 hrs, a massive road collapse occurred in front of Vajira Hospital, on Samsen Road, Dusit District, Bangkok. The collapsed area has formed a large sinkhole measuring about 30 x 30 meters wide and 50 meters deep, with a continued risk of further subsidence

Subsequently, two electricity poles fell into the sinkhole, along with a vehicle belonging to the Samsen Metropolitan Police Station. The subsidence continues to expand, directly threatening public safety and causing severe traffic congestion in the area and nearby roads

The Disaster Relief Center of the First Army Area, the Disaster Relief Center of the First Infantry Division, King’s Guard, and the Disaster Relief Center of the Eleventh Military Circle have deployed Royal Volunteer troops and military personnel to support the operations of the Metropolitan Police Bureau, rescue teams, and disaster relief agencies on-site. Their mission is to assess the situation, assist with traffic management, and ensure the safety of the people

The Royal Thai Army expresses its deep concern and care for all citizens, wishing everyone safety, and urging caution when traveling through the affected area
